Convert indentation only in selected text

I know we can convert indentation to space or tabs for the whole document in View > Indentation but is it possible to convert only the selected part of a document ?

I would like this behavior too. For now, you can:

1. Select the text
2. Cut it to a new view
3. Run the command
4. Cut the text back

I think package could also be able to do that automatically.

Issue: Convert to Tabs and Convert to Spaces are applied to the whole document, when there are selections
