This may be a very old question, but I was wondering how can I compile C++ on Windows 8? I have installed Visual Studio 2008 and 2012 on my system, both work fine. But I don’t know how to set up the environment. Also, I have searched on the Internet about using G++, but it keeps saying “G++ stopped working”. I am really lost now.
Could someone tell me how to set up the environment for C++ please? I really appreciate it!
