Command line subl issue

#1

I can’t seem to get the sublime cli to work properly.

I have it symlinked which works fine, subl --help e.g.

However, if I e.g. try subl -n .zshrc it just focuses on the current instance of sublime instead of opening the file in a new window. If I quit sublime and try the same, it just opens ST as if I launched the application.

Edit: I’m on macOS 10.11 and ST 3132

I cannot reproduce your issue, works fine for me.

  • Win10 Pro x64 1703
  • ST3132 x64 portable

:warning: Note that Sublime will open the file in the current window if there are no open tabs.

I discovered the issue, or at least partially.

The problem only occurs when I’m inside a tmux-session. Should’ve checked that earlier, but didn’t cross my mind.
