Characters not showing in Sublime Text 2

Hi,
In Portuguese, my language, it is common to have the “ões” ending in some words, with the accent [size=150]~[/size] on letter O: õ. However, I know the “õ” character is there, but it’s not visible in ST. If I copy the entire line and paste elsewhere, I’ll see the õ character. How to fix it? I’m running Sublime Text 2, last stable build, Windows 8.1, plain text syntax and UTF-8 with BOM encoding. Thanks in advance!
