Can't type characters 'h' after 'g' in Sublimetext 3

#1

I couldn’t type character ‘h’ after ‘g’ in ST 3 (Build 3176) in mac OS Sierra 10.12.6. Whenever I enter ‘h’ after g, the character is discarded for the first press and on the second press the previous character ‘g’ is deleted.

Have I messed up any configuration in sublime text or in my machine?

you can revert to a clean state to check but it sure seems likely to be caused by a plugin and/or keybinding:

There is no folder named ‘data’. Do you I have remove ‘Cache’ or ‘Installed Packages’?

you can remove the whole Sublime Text 3 folder, that is the “data” folder being referred to.

Thanks. Everything works fine after resetting. I have to find out which package screwed this.
