I am using Mac OS Mojave. Every time I want to start Sublime Text I need to go to my download folder and redo the installation. The next time I try to use the package, there are no Sublime text files on my computer and I need to repeat the process. Luckily when I re-install the application it has retained my content files.

Just to double check, are you installing it by opening the dmg
file and running it from there, or opening the dmg
file and dragging the application into your Applications
folder?

Yes, that was the issue. I’m new to the Mac and did not realize I needed to drag the icon to the Applications folder.
Thank you!
