I get an error when trying to update to version 4200 because it says it

Are you able to access the website from a browser? If not perhaps you’ve added www.sublimetext.com to your hosts file.

I did add it (127.0.0.1 www.sublimetext.com) at one time to try to get rid of the ‘Stable Channel Changelog’ pop-up, but then after removing it, I can access the website now. I had both Sublime Text 3 and Sublime Text (ver 4) installed and my original issue (Stable Channel Changelog pop up) was due to keeping both versions 3 and 4, so I removed version 3 and that fixed the pop up issue.
