Cannot open file correctly when the path is too long

I open a file with a long path to edit using ST3, but nothing displayed in the editor.
I then open that file with notepad, I can see the content of the file.

I would suggest to try “Long Path Tool” program.

Also you don’t need to install any program starting Windows 10 Anniversary Update.

Files with long paths won't open
