Cannot Download Sublime Text for Mac

Please advise… I have tried the direct link, am running Monterey 12.0, and have rebooted my laptop.

Do you get any errors or anything? What actually happens when you click the direct download link?

The URL for the download appears in the lower left of my window and that’s it. I have tried using the direct link as well and get the same result. Am using Monterey 12.0, and have rebooted my laptop.

Do you have any browser extensions that may be interfering? Have you checked your downloads folder?

I have checked download folder… nada,
I do have some extensions, but nothing new… What kind of extensions would interfere with the download? Thanks

One more thing, I use Duck Duck go on chrome…

Does it also not work in safari?

Download worked, but when I try to open get an error message 'The application 'SublimeText.app" can’t be opened. -47

How did you extract the zip file?

  • Went to downloads,
  • Selected the Zip file
  • A small clock appeared nest to the file name
  • Zip file disappeared
  • Sublime Text.app appeared
  • Received error message upon selected Sublime Text App
