Can no longer edit settings files in ST3

I can’t seem to edit settings files in ST3. My keys just have no effect.

You are not supposed to edit the default settings. Put the relevant changes in your user settings file instead.

Hi, same pb here, of course I changed the user settings:

"tab_size": 4, "translate_tabs_to_spaces": true
but if the cursor is in the first column, the tab fills it with 4 spaces, but if I use the tab again, it’s filled with tab, no more spaces
