Can i change the minimal height of a pane?

is it possible to change the minimal height of a pane? Coz i like to minimize a pane to the tabs but Sublime Text 2 shows me always 1 line left:

Would be great if i could edit a configfile to get the the lower result:

I’m not aware of any api/hack to change it, I can see it may be handy so entered github.com/SublimeText/Issues/issues/312
