I watched a YT vid that showed on Windows, when I have several items on my list, to click before the first item, then shift and right click to drag the vertical line, curser, down to the last item. This works for me but when I click to add what I want before all items in my list, the vertical line goes away. How do I add the LI I want before each item. Hope I explained this well enough and that this question is in the correct area of the forum. Thanks ahead.

A simple left click clears a multi-select. If you want to move your carets you’ll need to do so from the keyboard. You can only add a caret (ctrl+left click) or make a new multi-selection.
