Build 4127 does not run on CentOS 7

#1

I run CentOS 7.9 with Mate 1.16.2 desktop. Yesterday I updated Sublime from build 4126 to 4127 using normal yum update. Now when I try to run the program from the command line as usual, with or without giving a file name, the prompt immediately returns–sublime does not pop up a window or print any error message.
dmesg has this: “[ 6910.242479] traps: sublime_text[19173] trap int3 ip:7f733d5c8be1 sp:7ffc8959d900 error:0 in libglib-2.0.so.0.5600.1[7f733d577000+114000]”
Looks like a bug (or library incompatibility) with 4127. Can anyone help? I am stuck with vi until this is fixed. Or should I revert to 4126?
Thanks,
George

Build 4129 installed today fixed the problem.

This was addressed in 4128 actually. 4129 fixes a selection issue.

Yeah, but I didn’t get the notice for 4128 because the editor
wasn’t working. I got 4129 adventitiously because it came with
a bunch of other CentOS updates on a standard ‘yum update’.
I was surprised and a bit annoyed that there was no response on this list regarding 4128 as hopefully that would have given me an email alert since I had clicked the button to be notified of responses.
