Build 4109 erases content of extensionless file on open

Since the last update today to build 4109, dragging a file without extension results in an empty file and a safe prompt on close (i.e. changes made). Undo doesn’t do anything.
Opening from the open dialog still works.

But you can imagine how disruptive this is to any drag’n’drop workflow.

Which OS are you on. I can’t reproduce that happening on Windows 10 x64 using ST 4109.

Does it happen in SAFE MODE?

I’m on win 10 x64. It’s a work machine, so not easy to reboot, due to work state, etc. I’ll report on safe mode next time I reboot, but not sure how that would affect it. It was working a few days ago, since it’s part of my regular workflow.

There’s no need to reboot. Just restart Sublime Text in safe mode.

You likely have a plugin doing that for you then.

Well, I had no plugin doing that before the last update, and I haven’t changed my plugins… so it’s probably an interaction. Do you know what has changed in the last update that could cause this, then?

I use Windows 10 and ST Build 4109. This doesn’t happen to me. Any steps to reproduce?

In terms of plugins I’m not aware of any changes.
