Build 3176 Copy File Path (and other right click selections) dimmed?

I often use copy file path and somewhere in recent update(s), it seems to have been broken.
I’ve never seen (nor see a reason for) the menu selection be disabled (dimmed/unselectable). It makes no sense it can’t get an open window/file’s path, no?

if the file has never been saved, and thus has no path, it makes sense.
are there any errors in the ST console (View menu -> Show Console)?
