Build 3170 doesn't seem to like symlink settings directory on windows?

I have my settings folder synced on dropbox by using these instructions: https://packagecontrol.io/docs/syncing#dropbox

I tried updating from 3143 to 3170 today, and it seems to ignore my settings. Weirder, if I do Preferences > Browse Packages, nothing happens - no folder window pops up.

If I rename that symlink, then Preferences > Browse Packages will work, but of course then my settings are still gone.

I downgraded to 3143 and it still works fine, so… not sure where to go from here.

Didn’t try symlinks, but junctions work great - even better in 3170 than in 3143. 3143 does not always track changes correctly of linked packages.

I use HardLinkShellExtentions to easily do it via context menu or drag&drop.

Thanks so much, I never would have thought to try that… instead of mklink /D, I replaced it with mklink /J and now it works fine.
