I’m having a small problem with the latest update of sublime text and was hoping someone here could help me. Every time I open sublime text 3, a popup dialog appears telling me there’s a new version available (A new version of Sublime Text is available, download now?).
At first, I cancelled it a few times because I was in the middle of something important. Today I have a little more time, so I decided to upgrade it. I clicked on download, downloaded the latest build and installed it vía dpkg. The problem is that the popup keeps appearing.
In sublimetext.com/3 it says that “The latest build is 3047”. If in my sublime I go to Help > About Sublime Text it says “Stable Channel, Build 3047”. So it would appear I already have the latest build installed.
Is there a way to remove the notification? I’ve already tried adding ““update_check”: false,” to my user settings and it did not work.
