Version 3022 is crashing pretty consistently for me. If I open sublime and previously had files open, then switch to a project I’m prompted to save the previously modified files. If I select “Cancel” to not save them Sublime Crashes. I have lots of crash reports if you’d like me to send them to you.
Build 3022 Crashes when switching to project
I am unable to replicate on OS X.
What OS are you running?
Have you set 'hot_exit" (in Preferences.sublime-settings) to false?
When you say ‘switch to a project’ do you mean you are opening a project or using the ‘switch project’ or ‘quick switch project’ or something else?
No one is doubting you are having the problem just that your description is a bit short on specifics of what the bug report really is and isn’t.
Sorry, I didn’t see your reply until now.
An example of how this happens to me is I have some files open and quit ST. Later I open sublime and those files are still showing as open (as expected). I use “Quick Switch Project…” to select an existing project and ST crashes with no messages. If I first open a new window before using Quick Switch Project… then it works and isn’t crashing.
If you think more details are needed let me know.
Also I have tried hot_exit true and false so that alone isn’t the issue.
FWIW, I have the same problem with build 2217 on Ubuntu. When using the Quick Switch Project window, ST will crash a lot of the time. My gut always told me it was related to Sublime SVN, but maybe just because a commit is usually the last thing I do before trying to switch projects.
