Build 2197 missing Edit menu on OS X

Hi,

On my Mac, Build 2197 is missing the Edit menu. It is there in the 2195 dev build. I removed my Sublime Text 2 folder from Application Support to test. Anyone else seeing this?

Heh heh. I noticed something was missing, but didn’t really think about it much. Yeah, I’m seeing (err, not seeing) that too. Just checked 2195 and it’s there. Not on 2197. Mac OS X 10.7.4.

Haha! OK Jon, admit it. You did this just to see if anyone would notice, right? And I have to admit I didn’t until I saw this thread. Just goes to show how often I use the menus (very rarely indeed).

Ha, I’m not alone.

However, I’ve got a workaround.

edit Main.sublime-menu located in $HOME/Library/Application Support/Sublime Text 2/Packages/Default/,
on line 141:
“caption”: “Edit”,

change “Edit” to anything else and save, the “Edit” menu will appear. (I saved as "Edit " :smile:)

I had to change the “id” too in order to bring it back.

EDIT: Unfortunately this breaks the Preferences menu…
