Tabs across multiple windows pointing to the same file can get out-of-sync, and you can lose data even if you save frequently.

In the issue I’ve written up specific steps to reproduce it.

This is a hard-to-avoid silent data-destroying bug in core functionality that affects multiple people. I hope that it is getting some attention?
