Bug | Vintage Macros not working as expected

#1

Sublime Text Version: Sublime Text 4 - build version 4152
Package Type: Portable Version
Operating System: Windows 11

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Enable Vintage Package.
  2. Switch to Command Mode.
03: Press ‘q’ to start recording macro.
  3. Press any letter to act as register for the macro.
  4. Enter some commands.
  5. Press ‘q’ again to stop recording macro.
    – This step is not executed. I don’t see a feedback in the status bar. And I opened the Sublime
Console enabled command logging by entering sublime.log_commands(True). On Console
I don’t see the command for stopping macro. But I can confirm the Macro Recording Starting
    after pressing ‘q’ for recording.

I tried the above steps with the previous portable version of Sublime Text - build version 4143. The Macro Start Recording and Macro End Recording commands are logged to Sublime Console.
