[bug]Sublime Text 3126 needing reinstall after duplicating window

#1

Version:Sublime Text 3126
OS: macOS Sierra 10.12.2

I’m getting an error where my current Sublime window is sometimes duplicated in the background, and when I click on the new window, it pops up with the ‘[filename] Has changed on disk. Do you want to reload it?’ message.

But then regardless of whether I click ‘cancel’ or ‘reload’, the program crashes. Then even if I force quit and reopen it, it still reopens the duplicate window and immediately pops up the same message with the same effect when I click on it.

Edited
The first time this happened I had to reinstall Sublime to break the cycle, but now when I do that I’m still getting the same issue - so Sublime is currently unusable for me!

I don’t know how I triggered the bug, unfortunately. It’s happened a couple of times now, but I the duplicate window has opened behind others so I didn’t see it until I was cycling open windows. Is this enough info to either a) prevent the bug completely or at least b) enable me to fix it so that I can actually use Sublime again?

Yeah, it might be the same thing although (as one of the respondents to that thread says), I have ‘always_prompt_for_file_reload’ set to false.
