After updating to Sublime Text 2 Version 2.0.2, (Build 2221) text started disappearing. It always happens after reboots. The tabs are still there but the content is blank/deleted and no way to undo. On OS X 10.10.5. This also just happened without rebooting, I had two tabs open and was gonna copy and paste both tabs into PHPStorm but when I went back to copy the second tab everything was gone. The only thing that persists is the tab names.

Uhm, upgrade to ST3?
Is there perhaps something that modifies/deletes the files whenever you reboot the machine?
