Hi,
Build 3080, Windows7 64bit
When sublime does not have focus, drag/droping a file on sublime fails to give it focus. In some cases the caret even blinks, which is very misleading and thus potentially dangerous.
To reproduce:
- put a text file on your desktop,
- open an empty sublime window, with no files
- click on your desktop to make sublime loose the focus
- drag the file from your desktop to sublime’s empty buffer
- you should see a caret blinking
- type anything (be careful though, because the buffer should not move)
Notes:
- if you drop the file on the side bar, sublime won’t take focus either, but there is no blinking caret.
- the bug was already present in ST2 (see viewtopic.php?f=3&t=14913&p=56621&hilit=drag+focus#p56621)
What could be expected is:
- no blinking caret in buffers that do not have focus
- having sublime take focus upon file drop by default, or an option to choose to do it.
Thanks !
