Bug: Multiline commit messages or prepare-commit-msg hooks

I have a prepare-commit-msg hook that prepends some text to my commit messages. They are committed correctly, but in smerge I can only see my commit message without the prepare-commit-msg result, which comes first. I would love to see that fixed.
