[BUG?] Goto anything opening and changing random files

Since upgrading to Sublime Text 3 I’ve noticed this odd behaviour.

When I’m using CMD + P Goto anything and I search as I type, Sublime Text displays a preview of the highest-matched file (as expected).

Only, random files (and it happens consistently for those files) when they’re previewed end up opening and getting changes made to them. A diff shows that the newline-character is being changed on preview.

It’s fairly irritating as sometimes when trying to open 1 file, it opens up 3 and I have to close (and confirm that I don’t want to keep changes) them.

Any ideas on a solution or a work-around for this?

This defect happens consistently for me too. All SVG files open and are edited immediately when the filename receives focus in the Goto Anything panel.

I am experiencing this issue too. Is this a bug or any way to stop this happening?
It seems to open the file that is highlighted in the goto anything search box. As you search new things it opens the files it processes each time.
End up with loads of files and tabs open that I then have to close and not save (another bug too - untouched files seem to be recognised as changed and prompts save).

Its very annoying. Any ideas?

Are either of you using github.com/sammarks/subl-convertindentation/

As I found thus is what was causing me the problem.

Convert Indentation was the problem for me as well – disabling it fixed it!
