BUG: Find and Replace hotkey have bug

Steps to reproduce

  1. Press keys “Ctrl+h”
  2. Notice “Find Replace…” panel wont appear
  3. Press any other key (except ctrl, alt, shift)
  4. Notice the panel now appear

OS: Windows 7x64

This sort of behaviour is a potential symptom of having another key binding that consists of more than one key, and one of the keys is Ctrl+H. In that sort of situation the key binding can be ambiguous and Sublime needs more information to know which one to pick. Such a binding might be one you created yourself or one provided by a package you have installed.

Something that might help would be to install the FindKeyConflicts and use the FindKeyConflicts: All Conflicts command.

In the buffer that is opened, do a search for ctrl+h to see if there are any hits; in my Sublime there’s not any, for example. If you see the key in the file, that might suggest the source of problem.
