BUG: closing console returns focus to tab instead of command palette

How to reproduce:
1 open command palette
2 open console
3 close console
what should happen: focus is returned to command palette
what happens instead: focus is returned to tab, though command palette remains open

can u please fix it? should be easy enough

One more detail:
When plugin closes console while you are using command palette, focus should remain in command palette instead of switching to tab. It is probably related to the main bug
