I have sublime text 3 and I have problem I cannot execute my work as file.php on a Google Chrome browser, the browser shows me the code again without execute it. even the icon of the php file is typically chrome icon not php, I installed Xampp as a web server and it works well.
I don’t know what to do, I am a new in the field and I need your help. Thanks

Good, browsers can’t execute the php commands.
You need a server to do that, read about Apache and Nginx
