Browse packages opens a random program

#1

Hello all,

I have heard great things about ST and I wanted to evaluate this program to see if I can use it for Latex and other things. I installed it on my manjaro KDE and wanted to browse for some packages but when I go to Preferences ----> Browse Packages the program opens FileBot (which is a program for renaming TV shows).

I couldn’t figure out what was going on so I uninstalled FileBot and tried again. This time Dolphin file browser opens to the following path: /home/user/.config/sublime-text-3/Packages/

What is it supposed to happen and how do I fix it so that it happens? What is the filetype that it is opened so I can associate sublime text to it?

Any help is appreciated.

That is the correct path, Browse to packages you have installed. If you want to see packages that are available, you can either go to PackageControl.io or use the built in Command Palette -> Package Control: Install and search for packages
