BracketHighlighter pallet colour for XMLand Json

Hi there,
I was wondering if there is any CSS code available to customize BracketHighlighter in a way that would make it easier to understand the structure of XML or JSON files. For example, highlighting a block with a specific color when hovering over a tag, and using uniform colors for repeated tags. Here is an example:

Afaik, BracketHighlighter

• doesn’t highlight content betweewn matched tags. It only highlights the tag itself. But I am not sure about this.
• only highlights matched tags depending on the current position of caret(s). So if you want to highlight multiple tags at the same time, you have to put multiple cursors on tags. I don’t think you want to do that.

Suggestion? Maybe you just want a word highlighting plugin, depending on how Option B works.
Hmm… no. Tag names are not fixed.
