Yes, it’s closed source. So are iTunes, Adobe Photoshop, and Maya. You want open source build it yourself. I’ve personally used it for over 3 years now and felt I needed to express how completely I love it. As a computer architect I work on Windows, Linux, and Mac. Sublime follows me on any of them. It is customizable to any extent I’d require, and has all the features I need and more besides that make using it a joy (built-in code repl and sort-F9, etc.)
I’ve personally used it to load 100Mb + text files, with no ill effects, including performance degradation to my system.
Lastly I’m a paranoid C99 hacker at heart, and love the fact that Sublime runs without any VM, support software or internet connectivity.
My sincere thanks to the developer for 3 years of coding joy, and high hopes for many more.

I used to love Sublime as well. Now I don’t, since I cannot extend it in all the ways I want to and jps seems to have taken yet another 6-month hiatus.

What to say but “sigh”.

He/she is not hijacking it. It’s a forum, he/she is discussing the topic.

Yes, yes it is. The OP was saying thanks, then @dinkit comes in with the bipolar opposite.

We’re not arguing on this.
