I have a set of files with my own notes about how I set up my preferences, key bindings, etc.–basically reminding myself of what all the tweaked setting files and color schemes in my User folder are doing. They’re mostly txt files, but not all. Since I sometimes copy that User folder to one of my other computers, I’d like my notes to travel with it. Would it be a bad idea to create a subfolder to hold my notes beneath User?
