Autostash for rebase

I have set rebase.Autostash in my global config, yet when attempting to squash commit messages to fixup, SM complains I have uncommited changes, git cli works just fine.

Maybe I’m missing something obvious?

There is a vast amount of git configuration options & parameters and not everyone knows about all of them. It is likely that the Sublime devs aren’t aware of this one (I myself wasn’t aware) or haven’t had the time to add support for it with the recent ST 3.2.x releases.

I’m not sure why this one is failing, but SM might be doing pre-validation or calling git a little differently than cmd-line-normal for that setting to trigger. Feel free to create a bug report for SM here: https://github.com/sublimehq/sublime_merge/issues

I think its a pretty common feature, at least its very useful
