Autoscroll on save

Sometimes when I save in Sublime Text 3, it automatically scrolls to a random position in my file (often the bottom). Why?

Most likely you have a third party package that’s doing you favours. Based on when you’re seeing this happen, I would guess something like reformatting your file on save, and that plugin isn’t taking care to maintain the visible part of the viewport after it modifies the content of the file.
