Automatically new tabs are being opened when i search for symbol

Everytime i am searching for a symbol in my codebase, new tabs are openings as per the suggestions in the search box.
I have tried this on stable as well as latest dev build.

This is very annoying as every letter i type, a new tab gets opened.
