auto_match_complete not working with select text on OSX

The version of Sublime Text is 3103.
The setting with auto_match_complete is true.
When I just type the quote it can auto_match fine.
But insert quote between a select text, the text disapper.

expected
test => “test”

actually
test => “”

Any hint for the setting?

the correct setting that controls this behavior is auto_match_enabled

oh! I type the wrong setting on this question.
Actually auto_match_enabled is also true in my setting file.

Maybe it is getting overridden in a syntax specific settings file?

I checked my Syntax Specific file, it doesn’t setting anything.
I tried to uninstall st3 and all the setting file, then reinstall st3/st2.
This function is also not working after I reinstall st3/st2 either .
I will keep find the problem, thanks.
