Auto-complete window always positioned vertically centered

I’m using SubtlimeText 3200 on Linux and the auto-complete window is always displayed in the vertical center of my screen – no matter which line the cursor is currently at.

The horizontal position,though, still matches the cursor position. I just noticed this behaviour today and I’ve been using 3200 for a few days already.

Restarting SublimeText and toggling auto_complete didn’t help.

What distro + version and desktop environment + version? Are you running Xorg or Wayland?

Ubuntu 18.10 using Gnome Shell 3.30.1-2ubuntu1 under Wayland.

The auto-complete behaviour is back to normal and the popup is now displayed directly below the cursor again.

I restarted SublimeText several times since the last incident but didn’t reboot my laptop — I only suspended and resumed a few times.
