Are tmPreferences file still used

#1

I am updating an old ST2 syntax.

Most files are now changed to the new sublime-... formats, but I still have these:

Completion Rules.tmPreferences
Goto Definition.tmPreferences
Indentation Rules.tmPreferences
Symbol List.tmPreferences
Comments.tmPreferences

Are they still required?
Are there sublime-... equivalent formats for them?

there is no replacement for these yet, they are still required

an easy way to tell is that the default packages that ship with ST3 still use them and nothing else

Has this changed at all?
I can’t find the documentation on the indentation rules file?

No. There is an open feature request still.

I don’t think there is any official docs on the .tmPrferences files but there is documentation over at the community docs.

Someone recently proposed an improvement to the unofficial /community docs: https://github.com/sublimetext-io/docs.sublimetext.io/pull/49

Also this forum post may help:
