The recent “Apply patch” is a pretty nice and convenient tool.
However, it is one step from being useful for me, that’s applying patch directly from URL.
GitHub, GitLab and Gitea all let you append .patch to a pull or merge request and get a URL of the patch file.
It also works on mailing lists, when someone sends a patch as an attachment.
I want to just copy the URL and past into smerge.
