I have Version 4 installed (Build 4200) but in Application Support, I have the folder Sublime Text 3. Why is this and will it cause problems?

Sublime Text 3 used the folder Sublime Text 3 in that location to store your user setup information. However:

  1. When you uninstall Sublime Text, the user configuration remains behind (in case you are upgrading)
  2. If Sublime Text 4 (builds >=4000) are installed and they see that folder, they use it, so that people upgrading from version 3 to version 4 will keep their config.

Thus, this is perfectly safe and nothing to worry about. If you remove that folder and then run Sublime again, it will create a version without the 4 in the name (it only falls back if a folder exists).
