Annoying tab and white space coloring

I am experiencing an annoying trouble:

white spaces and tabs are highlighted in the text (see image) even if the draw_white_space is set to none.

How can I disable this?

That comes from the syntax definition you’re using marking that whitespace as invalid. This is not related to the draw_white_space setting. Which syntax definition are you using?

I am sorry for the misunderstanding, I meant which SublimeText package you are using, not LaTeX packages. I’m not using LaTeX a whole lot so I cannot give you any profound recommendation, but the package I use is LaTeXTools which has proven to be very useful to me.

There are lots of other SublimeText plugins for LaTeX so you might want to choose what serves you best.

The behaviour you describe never occurred to me.

I solved the problem by removing the whole package control folders.
