Annoying issues with tab / ctrl + s

Recently Sublime 2 (build 2221) started doing some weird things.

sometimes pushing tab jumps to the end of the file instead of inserting a tab. When this happens hitting esc a couple times seems to fix it.

also ctrl + s has started jumping up one line, similar to the way it would jump when pushing ctrl + up arrow

Any idea why this has started happening or what is causing it. This is happening for myself and a co-worker

Regarding the ctrl + s behavior, I am seeing something similar on OS X. The cursor doesn’t actually change lines, however, the scrolling just kind of “jumps” a bit.

yep, the cursor does not move, only the screen.

I have upgraded to V3 build 3059 and the problem still persists.
