Annoying bug still in last version of Sublime 3

#1

Hi,

This bug is there since I have Sublime 3 for the first time (years ago!).

When opening a .php webpage in Sublime and then right click on a image link and choose “Copy Path” to paste the link in to the .php webpage the page is gone. Only when opening the page again it will stay there and I’m able to copy multiple links to the page.

Regards & Thanks,

David

Sounds like you’re just “previewing” the php file and that the preview goes away when you right click the image link on the side bar. If that is the case, that is expected behavior.

You have to double-click the php file first to make sure it is opened (as opposed to being previewed) or edit it (which is why after you make your first edit it works as you expect). Depending on your theme, you can typically know that a file is being previewed if the file name is displayed in the view tab in italics. There is also a “preview_on_click” setting that you can set to false to disable previewing so you don’t have to remember this (you will still have to double-click files to open them).
