I’ve decided to share a problem and solution I stumbled upon today and I hope this would be of help to someone else!
Today I restarted my Sublime and I noticed that the performance worsened afterwards. I came on the forum and read a few topics suggesting to look at the indexing and I noticed that on every file save the whole project was re-indexed. Weird.
I decided that this must be related to one of my packages being updated and I checked the Package folders for recently modified files.

I noticed that one of the packages that was updated recently is “AMPscript Syntax Highlighter”. I have no idea how it has appeared on my packages list, I can’t remember installing it, but I thought I’d try to disable it.
Well, it worked! You can see the indexing log below. Between jobs 3 and 4 I enabled the package. You can see the difference - ST started indexing all files on every files save.
