Every time I open Sublime Text, I want my websites’ Sublime project folder, or the SPF directory from Finder, showing in the Sublime Text sidebar. We can’t share the name or location of that folder for security reasons, but that should not impact finding answers here, in Forum. Sublime seems too often to open with an empty sidebar. I was hoping for an icon link, that opens Sublime Text appropriately, in the macOS Catalina Dock. But what to link to?
Google: “sublime text” “Project and workspace” -forum site:sublimetext.com - scores zero. Clicking on the project and workspace files is entirely erratic. Sometimes SPF is there, sometimes not. Regardless, project and workspace files open. Or not. So maybe using these files is not such a good idea.
Finder view
How do I get Sublime Text to always open with my website’s Finder folder (wherever that folder is located on a given day) in the Sublime sidebar.
Disclaimer: “Finder folder” refers to directory structure that Sublime reads from macOS Finder, and then hopefully places in Sidebar. I am hoping to use a Dock icon, rather than dragging folders into Sidebar every day (and every time I open Sublime Text, lol).
