After update, pressing enter in Goto Symbol search now does nothing

#1

I just upgraded (after a probably large period of not updating), and now symbol search is broken. I’ll press Ctrl+R, type the name of a symbol, it will scroll to the symbol, but pressing enter does nothing, so I can only really press escape and then it will scroll back to where I was before.

Strangely, clicking the symbol search result that I want does work. (But this would require moving my hand to the mouse so its not a satisfying workaround)

Any idea what I should prod at to figure this out? I tried deleting all of my custom keybindings over “enter” in case one of them was catching it. Didn’t work. There are some very similar non-custom bindings in the default. Is it possible that wasn’t updated? Is it safe to delete that?

crap  autocomplete isn’t working either (see followup). Maybe I should just nuke most of my config. How would I do that?

I don’t want to uninstall my packages though.

Does it happen in safe mode?

As well as the symbol search, it also happens in the files search, but does not happen in the command search

Autocomplete was disabled in my config, the thing that wasn’t working was pressing “tab” to select a completion, which, interestingly, is a very similar problem to what I’m having with the other stuff despite being a different key.

Use Preferences > Browse Packages from the menu or command palette. In the folder that opens up in your file browser, you should NOT see a folder named Default. If you do, and it has a sublime-keymap file in it, move it out of the way to your desktop.

Okay, I removed the Default folder, everything works now  :white_check_mark:
