There are a number of use cases for git branch --unset-upstream. However, I cannot find a way to use this command in Sublime Merge; I need to do it on the command line.
The Stack Overflow answer for this flag has almost 1000 upvotes, so I think it is a worthwhile feature to add to Sublime Merge.
