Add ability alter colour of character underneath block caret

#1

I would like the ability to customise the colour of the character below the caret position when using block caret.

I like to use a brighter colour caret as I find it more eye-catching. As I am a neovintageous user I also have the caret as a block caret unless I am in insert mode. This can be somewhat problematic especially when in visual mode as if the current theme uses light colors for some syntax it can be extremely difficult to read what is under the cursor.

Tanks!

According to ST’s Documentation, this is controlled by block_caret_underline. Try editing the color scheme and adding:

	"globals":
	{
		"block_caret_underline": "var(white)",
	}

Unfortunately that isn’t what I meant. block_caret_underline defines the color of the underline that represents the block caret when it sits in an already highlighted region.

Thank you though, I appreciate you taking the time to try and give me an easier solution

I believe I understand now. You want to change the color of the character under the block caret. Unfortunately, I am not aware of an option that would make such a change. Maybe someone with greater knowledge of color schemes can help here.
