Hello author, I am a Mac user. Due to some file names being too long, I have to drag the width of the left directory tree to display. Can I add a configuration to allow or disable horizontal scrolling of the left directory tree

Are you asking for the side-bar to automatically resize based on the contents, or what else do you mean by disabling scrolling?

I don’t think it’s necessary to automatically adjust the size, but rather to have a horizontal scrollbar that can be dragged. Whether this horizontal scrollbar is displayed or not depends on the configuration parameters of a sublime to turn it on or off

On macOS scroll bars are only shown when scrolling. You can change this behavior in your system preferences or by using the "overlay_scroll_bars" setting in Sublime Text.
